The incident occurred this morning at Hoc Vien Tre Tho Kindergarten in Thoi Hoa ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The class teacher quickly moved the children out, herded the snake with a broom into a storage room near the stairs, and then called for rescue.

The Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Team Area 31 immediately dispatched officers to the scene. Within minutes, they captured the king cobra, a venomous species.

According to the principal, the snake appeared during student playtime. Timely detection and swift action prevented any injuries.

Following the incident, the rescue team advised the school to clear surrounding vegetation to deter snakes and other dangerous reptiles.
