Medical school admission scores range from 17 to 30

The 2025 admission scores for 15 medical schools across Vietnam range from 17 to 30, with the highest at the Military Medical Academy. Most schools have lower admission scores compared to last year.

2025 university admission scores have been released.

Medical programs typically have the highest admission thresholds, but this year shows a downward trend. For instance, Hai Duong Medical Technical University's medical program admission score, based on the high school graduation exam, is 1.6 points lower than last year. Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine also saw a one-point decrease.

Hanoi Medical University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy also experienced slight drops in their medical program admission scores, by 0.14 and 0.46 points, respectively.

Programs like Nursing and Public Health saw the most significant declines. Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy's Public Health program, for example, dropped from 21.45 last year to 17 this year based on high school graduation exam scores.

Military Medical Academy: 27.21-30

Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy: 21-24.25

Hanoi University of Public Health: 18.3-23.5

Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy: 18.3-26.15

Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy: 17-24.6

Hai Duong Medical Technical University: 21-23.8

Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy: 19.35-25.33

Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy: 17-23.88

Da Nang University of Medicine and Pharmacy: 16.5-23.23

Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy: 17-25.17

As of the morning of 23/8, all universities have announced their 2025 admission scores.

Successful candidates must confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry of Education and Training's system by 5 PM on 30/8. This is a mandatory step for those who wish to attend. Many universities may have additional enrollment procedures and welcome students in person.
