National Economics University announces minimum admission scores for graduation exam

National Economics University (NEU) has set the minimum admission score at 22 for all subject combinations, matching last year's level, but has reduced the discrepancy in equivalent conversions between graduation exam scores and other admission methods.

Dai hoc Kinh te Quoc dan announced its minimum admission scores and score conversion table on the afternoon of 3/7.

The university set the minimum score at 22 for all majors and admission combinations, consistent with last year. This includes A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Mathematics, Physics, English), D01 (Mathematics, Literature, English), and D07 (Mathematics, Chemistry, English). For programs in Law, candidates need a mathematics score of 6 or higher.

This minimum threshold applies to admissions based on graduation exam scores and those combining exam scores with IELTS or other international English language certificates.

Dai hoc Kinh te Quoc dan also released conversion thresholds for admission scores across various methods. For instance, a 28/30 graduation exam score is equivalent to 112/150 on the HSA ability assessment, 1500/1600 on the SAT, 1004/1200 on the V-ACT ability assessment, and 77,9/100 on the TSA thinking assessment.

Compared to last year, this discrepancy has decreased. For example, a 28-point exam score in 2025 was equivalent to 114 HSA points, 1560 SAT, 1007 V-ACT, and over 80 TSA.

Two days ago, TS Le Anh Duc, Head of Training Management at Dai hoc Kinh te Quoc dan, predicted that this year's admission scores might range from 23 to 28,5, approximately 0,25 points lower than last year's 23-28,83. However, some popular majors, including logistics and supply chain management, international business, e-commerce, and marketing, could see an increase of 0,25-0,5 points.

Mr. Duc emphasized that this forecast serves as a reference to help candidates choose appropriate majors. Official admission scores will depend on several factors, including the number of applications, quotas for each major, and individual candidate scores.

For 2026, tuition fees at Dai hoc Kinh te Quoc dan are projected to be 20-28 million VND for standard programs. Advanced, high-quality, and application-oriented (POHE) programs will cost between 41-68 million VND.
