The graduation ceremony, held in Hanoi, was themed "Marked by a resilient generation" to honor the students' perseverance and academic achievements, having begun their university journey online.
According to a university representative, after 4 years of study, over half of this cohort secured jobs before graduation with major corporations such as Google, Qualcomm, Unilever, P&G, BCG, and VinRobotics. Many have taken on roles as management trainees, product development managers, and other positions with clear career paths.

26% of the graduates will pursue further studies at international universities, with nearly half accepted into institutions ranked among the global top 20, including Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, UC Berkeley (USA), NUS, and NTU (Singapore).
The university representative revealed that 9 students received direct admission to doctoral programs with full scholarships in fields like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and behavioral monitoring. Many of their research projects have been presented at prestigious conferences such as ICML, ICLR, and IJCAI.

One notable example is Nguyen Thu Ha Anh (College of Business Administration), who was accepted into the 2+2 MBA program at Harvard Business School. This program allows students to work for two years before pursuing their MBA at Harvard University.
In addition to pursuing careers and further education, several students from this cohort have embarked on entrepreneurial ventures. Tran Dinh Le Hoang (College of Business Administration) successfully secured 1.3 billion Vietnamese dong in funding from VFS Global for his project, Dynapath. This funding will support the development of new materials from plastic waste that can generate electricity from footsteps.

Speaking at the event, Professor Soumitra Dutta, Dean of the Said Business School at the University of Oxford and a member of the VinUni Advisory Board, noted that the second cohort of VinUni students matured during a period of great upheaval and uncertainty. "They have not only adapted well but are also ready to lead the future with their intellect and desire for innovation," the university representative said.
At the graduation ceremony, Professor Vu Ha Van, Scientific Director of VinBigData and Professor at Yale University, congratulated the graduates. He emphasized that success is not solely measured by fame or wealth, but also by the positive impact one makes on society.
The second graduating class also witnessed several milestones in the university's development, including VinUni becoming the youngest university in the world to achieve a QS 5-Star rating and announcing its strategy to become one of the top 100 universities globally.
Phan Huu Hoang Gia Bao, a representative of the second cohort, stated that the students not only strived for personal goals but also contributed to VinUni's journey towards international recognition, demonstrating their commitment and belief in the future.
VinUni University is a non-profit private university founded by Vingroup, modeled after elite global universities, with the goal of becoming one of the world's top 100 universities in the future.
