The Ministry of Education and Training released the 2025 national high school graduation exam results on the afternoon of 15/7. Math had the highest number of failing grades with 777 students, followed by literature with 87, an increase of 19 from the previous year.

Failing grades decreased in other subjects. English saw 28 failing scores, a fivefold decrease compared to last year. History and geography had 13 and 19 students below 1, decreases of 20 and 75 respectively. Physics and biology also showed significant improvement, with only 1 and 3 students failing, respectively.

The four new subjects introduced this year – computer science, economics and law education, agricultural technology, and industrial technology – had no failing grades.

2025 High School Graduation Exam Failing Grades:

Over 1.07 million students took the national high school graduation exam on 26-27/6. The Ministry of Education and Training has opened university application registration, allowing adjustments and additions until 5 PM on 28/7. There is no limit to the number of times students can modify their applications. The application fee payment window is from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

Before applying, students can use the VnExpress University Search tool to review university admission score trends by major, university, and tuition fees. The system also suggests programs and universities with admission scores similar to the student's scores in various subject combinations.

University admission scores will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
