People's Security Academy of Vietnam announces admission scores

Admission scores for the People's Security Academy of Vietnam range from 18.78 to 26.27, with the highest score applying to female students from north-central provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.

University admission scores for 2025 have been updated.

On the morning of 23/8, the People's Security Academy of Vietnam announced its admission scores. The scores are based on a combination of international language certificates and high school graduation exam results, along with the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test.

The 2025 admission scores for the People's Security Academy of Vietnam are as follows:

Recruitment Region (Provinces and Cities before merging) Male Female
Security Practice
Region 1 (Northern mountainous provinces: Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La) 23.05 25.58
Region 2 (Northern delta and midland provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh) 24.63 26.09
Region 3 (North Central provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue) 23.03 26.27
Region 8 (Units directly under the Ministry: A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02) 18.78 19.63
Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention
North 24.48 24.69
South 20.63 24.15
Information Technology 21.98 (candidates with the same score of 21.98 need an additional condition of a Ministry of Public Security assessment score of 63.5 or higher)

This year, eight police academies are recruiting approximately 2,350 students, but nearly 23,000 candidates participated in the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test in July.

The People's Security Academy alone had about 3,500 applicants. Meanwhile, the total quota for the academy is 540 (440 regular students and 100 information technology students, under a cooperative program with Hanoi University of Science and Technology). This results in an admission rate of approximately 1 in 6.5.

Like other police academies, the People's Security Academy also offers direct admission, admission based on a combination of international language certificates, and admission based on a combination of high school graduation exam scores and the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test scores.
