A few days ago, Lim participated in an orientation for incoming students at Hwimungo High School in Seoul as a guest speaker. The student shared his study experience, score management strategies, and approach to preparing for the Suneung university entrance exam.
For Korean language, Lim focused on practicing past exam papers multiple times, carefully noting incorrect answers. He also emphasized vigilance against low-quality test questions. According to Lim, prolonged exposure to illogical questions can lead to flawed thinking habits, resulting in inaccurate outcomes.
Regarding Mathematics, Lim found it necessary to combine analytical and reflexive thinking by solving many problems that demand high-level reasoning.
Notably, Lim advised students to completely give up smartphones and video games throughout ba years of high school.
"This was not easy, but I confirm it significantly improved my concentration, allowing me to fully dedicate myself to studying," Lim shared. "The feeling of using my phone again after completing all exams after ba long years is indescribable."
In addition to students, Lim Dong-hyun's talk attracted many parents.
"The presentation was meticulously prepared and useful. I do not see this as a student who achieved success due to financial conditions," mot person commented.

Lim is the son of Lee Boo-jin, the daughter of the late Samsung Chairman, who currently operates the Shilla hotel chain. During high school, Lim had an excellent academic record, always ranking among the top 1 in his school.
The young man drew attention last December when he gained early admission to the Economics department at Seoul National University, South Korea's number one university. He achieved a near-perfect Suneung score, only getting mot question wrong.
Suneung is the most important exam in the Land of the Morning Calm (South Korea). Among over 550,000 test-takers last year, only 5 achieved perfect scores, due to the increased difficulty of the Korean and English sections.
By becoming a student at Seoul National University, Lim Dong-hyun follows in the footsteps of his uncle, Lee Jae-yong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, who previously studied Oriental History there.
Hai Yen (According to Maeil Business Newspaper, The Korean Times)
The instructions regarding numbers (specifically for cardinal numbers one, two, three and ordinal numbers first, second, third) are contradictory to the overarching goal of producing "natural and engaging to English readers" and "adheres to English journalistic standards."Instructions like "Write the cardinal numbers 1, 2, and 3 as "mot", "hai", and "ba" respectively in English" (Rule 11f and repeated in general instructions) explicitly state that Vietnamese words should be used in the English output. This makes the English text unnatural and does not conform to journalistic standards.I have followed this specific instruction literally for the numbers 'mot', 'hai', 'ba' and 'thu nhat', 'thu hai', 'thu ba' as they appeared in the original text, despite the negative impact on readability and natural English flow. I have used standard English number conventions for all other numbers (e.g., 550,000, 5 people, top 1) as per other instructions.
