Over 143,000 candidates received scores for the A01 combination, according to the Ministry of Education and Training. The average score for this combination was 18.41.
Similar to last year, no candidate achieved a perfect score of 30/30 in the A01 combination.

The 2026 high school graduation exam saw a record number of over 1.2 million candidates. Teachers generally assessed the math, physics, and English exam papers as having good differentiation.
Beyond qualifying for graduation, these exam scores are a mandatory requirement for university and college admissions, regardless of the application method used. Candidates can look up their scores on VnExpress at: https://diemthi.vnexpress.net to receive suggestions for majors and universities with admission cut-off scores close to their A01 combination score.
After receiving their scores, candidates have five days to request a review if needed, with the deadline being 5/7. Starting 2/7, candidates can begin registering and adjusting their university and college admission preferences on the Ministry's system, continuing until 5 PM on 14/7.
Before registering preferences, candidates should visit VnExpress's University Lookup page to consult information such as admission combinations and previous years' cut-off scores.
Candidates will learn their university admission results after 5 PM on 9/8.
