The 2026 high school graduation exam, held over two days on 11-12/6, saw a record high of over 1.2 million candidates. These exam scores are not only for graduation recognition but also a mandatory requirement for university and college admissions, regardless of the application method.
The Ministry of Education and Training will release the exam scores at 8:00 AM on 1/7. Candidates can check their results on VnExpress at: https://diemthi.vnexpress.net.
Following the score release, candidates have five days to request a review if needed, with the deadline set for 5/7. Starting 2/7, candidates can register and adjust their university and college admission preferences on the Ministry's system until 5:00 PM on 14/7.
Before submitting their preferences, candidates can access VnExpress's University Lookup page. This resource provides insights into past years' benchmark score fluctuations by major, institution, and tuition fees. The system also offers suggestions for majors and schools whose previous year's benchmark scores were close to what candidates achieved for each combination.
University benchmark scores and candidate admission results will be announced after 5:00 PM on 9/8.
