Tay Ninh to get over 2 hectares Edison inter-level education complex

The 2,2-hectare Edison inter-level school, located within the Eco Retreat campus, broke ground on the morning of 29/1, with student enrollment projected to begin in 2027 and an annual capacity to educate 3,600 students.

The school will enroll students from grade 1 to grade 10 for the 2027-2028 academic year. It offers diverse educational programs, from bilingual to trilingual, focusing on global competency education for students. The campus features internationally standard architecture, landscaping, and facilities, designed to accommodate thousands of students.

Edison has been recognized as a "Microsoft Showcase School" for several consecutive years and is acknowledged as a national innovation school. The system focuses on information technology, AI, 21st-century skills, and foreign language training: English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. The school is also an authorized College Board (US) testing center, administering international standardized tests such as SAT and AP.

Speaking about the school's development direction at Eco Retreat, Le Tue Minh, general director of Innochain Education Investment Group and chairwoman of the Edison Inter-level School System, stated it aims to create a learning environment that respects emotions, encourages independent thinking, and nurtures creativity. The architecture draws inspiration from the humanistic philosophy and mosaic art of painter Antoni Gaudi, reminiscent of Park Guel in Barcelona.

The institution aims to transform learning spaces into part of the experience, where students can interact with nature and their surroundings. Lessons extend beyond classrooms to pathways, gardens, sports fields, and common areas, aligning with Eco Retreat's vision for a green educational urban area.

"Each student possesses creative energy. When designing the school, our highest criterion was to ignite that creativity in them", Minh said.

Nguyen Duc Canh, a representative of Ecopark's founder, stated the groundbreaking of the school during the initial phase of urban development reflects the vision of integrating education as a crucial part of living infrastructure.

"The project is not just an educational facility; it marks a milestone in forming a living ecosystem where people, nature, and social values coexist harmoniously", he said.

The school is situated in the Mua Le Hoi subdivision, at the entrance of Eco Retreat. This area serves as the urban area's central hub for services, education, and commerce. According to the master plan, it allocates significant land for education, meeting residents' demand for high-quality learning.

Eco Retreat, spanning approximately 220 hectares, is located in Ben Luc, Tay Ninh province, adjacent to the western gateway of TP HCM. The project is developed as an ecological urban area, offering diverse product lines already launched: low-rise homes inspired by seasonal concepts, the Sky Retreat high-rise zone, forest villas, and island villas.

Beyond Mua Le Hoi, several other subdivisions within the urban area are under construction, with handover expected from Q3/2026. Amenities and services, including Ho Thien Nga Central Park and the Eco Bazaar commercial and service area, are also partially operational.
