Three Canadian institutions showcase scholarships and programs in Ho Chi Minh City

The 2025 Canada Study Abroad Fair features Ontario Tech University, Camosun College, and Toronto International Academy, offering scholarship information and suitable programs for Vietnamese students.

The 2025 "Right Decision - Bright Future" Canada Study Abroad Fair, organized by Dai Duong Study Abroad Consulting Company, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, 20/9, in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event brings together three Canadian institutions: Ontario Tech University, Camosun College, and Toronto International Academy (TIA). It offers Vietnamese students and prospective students the opportunity to learn about scholarships, academic programs, and study abroad pathways.

Ontario Tech University, a public university in Oshawa, Ontario, excels in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Its Faculty of Business and Information Technology ranks first in Ontario and 4th in North America. Tuition fees range from 35,000 to 44,000 CAD annually, with room and board costing between 12,000 and 15,000 CAD. Students can participate in 4- to 16-month internships and receive scholarships of up to 120,000 CAD.

For those interested in engineering, Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia, is another option. Established in 1971, the college has over 14,000 students annually, with approximately 1,700 international students from over 70 countries. Camosun offers more than 160 programs, ranging from university transfer and college diplomas to vocational and applied technology training. Its Camosun Innovates center contributed to producing medical face shields and disinfection equipment during the Covid-19 pandemic. The college emphasizes connecting academics with industry, providing students with practical experience and career opportunities.

High school students can explore Toronto International Academy (TIA) in Mississauga (Greater Toronto Area), established in 2004. TIA offers the globally recognized Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) for grades 9-12. It features small class sizes, flexible programs (online, part-time, day, evening, and weekend options), a 95% university acceptance rate, a multicultural environment, numerous extracurricular activities, and a convenient location near the GO station and Square One shopping center.
