On 6/7, the Admissions Council of Ton Duc Thang University announced the minimum scores for application submissions at its main campus in Ho Chi Minh City.
This year, the university aims to enroll over 7,000 students using two primary admission methods: comprehensive review (PT1) and scores from the competency assessment organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (PT2). The comprehensive review method considers high school graduation exam scores, high school transcript scores, and other achievements, all on a 100-point scale.
For each method, the university has established three threshold levels. In addition to meeting the Ministry's requirement of a minimum total score of 15 out of 30 for the three subjects in the admission combination from the high school graduation exam, candidates must also achieve a minimum score in a conditional subject and meet a method-specific threshold.
For example, to apply for the English Language major via the comprehensive review method, candidates must achieve a high school graduation exam score of 15 or higher for the chosen combination. Additionally, they need a minimum score of 6 in the English high school graduation exam or an average of 6 in their 12th-grade English high school transcript scores. This is coupled with an overall comprehensive review score exceeding 62 out of 100, depending on the specific combination.
For each major, Ton Duc Thang University designates a base admission combination to determine the cut-off score. Other combinations will have their scores converted based on the difference from this base combination within the same major.
The threshold or cut-off score for other combinations equals the threshold or cut-off score of the base combination plus the difference.
The university implements an equivalent conversion between the comprehensive review method and the competency assessment method as follows:

For the 2026 intake, the university projects average annual tuition fees for standard programs to be approximately 31-68 million VND, with Pharmacy being the highest. Advanced programs are estimated at 55-64 million VND, and programs taught in English are projected at 78-88 million VND.
Last year, Ton Duc Thang University's cut-off scores ranged from 22-34,5 out of 40.
