Top 15 US business schools for MBA graduate employment

15 business schools boast over 88% MBA graduate employment within three months of graduation, led by Oklahoma State University's Spears School of Business.

According to data released by US News in early September, based on employment reports from 133 Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, 15 leading US business schools saw remarkable placement rates for their 2024 MBA graduates. The schools in the top 15, all with 100 or more students, are among the top 100 universities in the US in 2025, as ranked by US News.

The Spears School of Business leads with a 95.6% employment rate among its 104 graduates within three months of graduation. Following closely behind is North Carolina A&T State University's College of Business and Economics with a 95.3% rate among 144 graduates. Seven other institutions reported placement rates exceeding 90%.

The remaining six schools in the top 15 reported rates between 88% and 89%. While the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania had the lowest rate among the top 15, its graduating class of 1,740 students was significantly larger than the others.

Some well-known schools, including those affiliated with Harvard University, Boston University, Northwestern University, Stanford University, the University of Chicago, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and New York University, were not included in the rankings because they did not provide data.
