The Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of the National High School Graduation Exam on the morning of 1/7 for over 1.2 million candidates. These scores are used for graduation recognition and university admissions based on various subject combinations.
The A00 combination (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) saw 50 candidates emerge as top scorers across the provinces and cities. Nguyen Khac Cong from Bac Ninh was the sole candidate to achieve a perfect 30/30 score. Top scorers in A00 from other localities achieved admission scores of 28,25 or higher, with most earning a perfect 10 in Mathematics.
For the A01 combination (Mathematics, Physics, English), three candidates from Ha Noi and Hung Yen jointly achieved 29,75 out of 30 points. Among the 45 top scorers from 34 provinces and cities, only three students from Ha Noi, Ninh Binh, and Da Nang earned a perfect score in English. In Physics, 10 students achieved a perfect score, while 22 did so in Mathematics.
The B00 combination (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology) recorded the highest number of perfect 30 scores, with four candidates: three from TP HCM and one from Dak Lak. Leading candidates in this combination from other localities generally scored above 29 points.
Top scorers for the D01 combination (Literature, Mathematics, English) across 34 provinces and cities achieved 26,25 points or higher, with the highest scores recorded by two candidates in Ha Noi. In terms of numbers, only a few localities like Ha Noi, Bac Ninh, and Thanh Hoa had two top scorers with identical scores, while others had one.
For the C00 combination (Literature, History, Geography), 44 candidates were named top scorers by province and city. The highest score, 28,75 points, was achieved by an independent candidate from Dak Lak who took the exam in Ha Noi. Top scorers from other localities commonly scored above 27 points.
The top scorer for the C03 combination (Mathematics, Literature, History) from Lao Cai achieved 29,25 points. This student earned perfect scores in Mathematics and History, along with 9,25 points in Literature. Two second-place scorers from Ha Noi and Tuyen Quang both reached 28,75 points.
The top scorer for the D07 combination (Mathematics, Chemistry, English) came from Ha Noi with 29,5 points. This candidate achieved a perfect score in Mathematics and 9,75 points in both Chemistry and English. Among the 39 top scorers in this combination across various localities, none achieved a perfect 10 in English. However, two students from Dong Nai and TP HCM scored perfectly in Chemistry, and 12 students reached this mark in Mathematics.

The 2026 National High School Graduation Exam, held on 11-12/6, saw a record participation of over 1.2 million candidates. Following the score release, candidates have five days to request a review if needed, with the deadline set for 5/7. Starting from 2/7, candidates can begin registering and adjusting their university and college admission preferences through the Ministry's system, a process that will continue until 17h on 14/7. University admission benchmarks and candidate pass/fail results will be announced after 17h on 9/8.
