On 9/2, the Dai hoc Kinh te - Luat (UEL), a member of Dai hoc Quoc gia TP HCM, announced its projected target to enroll 3,200 students, an increase of 500 compared to last year.
Up to 5% of the total enrollment quota is reserved for direct admissions and priority admissions, as regulated by the Bo Giao duc va Dao tao. The remaining admissions will utilize a comprehensive method.
The admission score is calculated as follows: Admission score = academic performance score + bonus points + priority points.
The academic performance score is the sum of high school graduation exam scores, academic transcripts, and results from the competency assessment organized by Dai hoc Quoc gia TP HCM. Bonus points are anticipated for candidates holding foreign language certificates or those from 149 priority admission high schools designated by Dai hoc Quoc gia TP HCM.
Candidates with international certificates (IB, A-level, SAT, ACT), or those who do not participate in the competency assessment or the 2026 high school graduation exam (freelance candidates) are still eligible for the comprehensive admission process.
The weighting of each component, alternative exams (if a component score is missing), and the conversion of international certificates will be announced before 15/2.
The six admission combinations for Dai hoc Kinh te - Luat include: A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Mathematics, Physics, English), D01 (Mathematics, Literature, English), D07 (Mathematics, Chemistry, English), X25 (Mathematics, English, Economic - Legal Education), and X26 (Mathematics, English, and Informatics).
Dai hoc Quoc gia TP HCM primarily uses a comprehensive admission method.
