On 27/1, the University of Finance - Marketing announced plans to admit approximately 6,500 students this year, an increase of 1,700 compared to last year.
The university will use four admission combinations: A01 (mathematics, physics, English), C01 (literature, mathematics, physics), C02 (literature, mathematics, chemistry), and D01 (mathematics, literature, English). Mathematics scores within these combinations will be multiplied by a factor of 2. The admission scoring scale will shift to 40 instead of 30, as in previous years.
For the economic law major, candidates must achieve an unweighted mathematics score of 6 or higher. If an admission combination includes both mathematics and literature, this condition applies to both subjects.
The 5 admission methods will be similar to last year, including: direct admission, priority admission; academic transcript review; V-SAT exam scores; National University of Ho Chi Minh City's competency assessment exam scores; and 2026 national high school graduation exam scores.
The university plans to organize 8 V-SAT competency assessment exam sessions from March to early July. Candidates can choose their highest score for admission consideration.
The University of Finance - Marketing's 8 V-SAT competency assessment exam sessions are:
