On the afternoon of 9/8, the University of Information Technology (UIT), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, announced its benchmark scores for 2026.
Artificial Intelligence recorded the highest admission score at 100/100, equivalent to 30 points when converted to a 30-point scale. Following this were Data Science with 91,7 points, Microchip Design with 90,5 points, Information Security with 88,7 points, and Computer Science with 88,5 points, equivalent to 26,55 points or higher on the 30-point scale. These majors are within the technology sector, which currently faces high demand for human resources.
Other majors required scores of 76/100 points or higher, equivalent to 22,8 points on the 30-point scale.
Candidates can check their admission results from the afternoon of 10/8 and confirm their enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training system before 17h on 21/8.

UIT plans to admit more than 2.300 students this year. The university primarily uses a comprehensive admission review, in addition to direct admissions for students who have won national and international awards.
