The University of Natural Sciences (HUS) announced on 3/7 that an admission threshold of 25 applies to its gifted training programs. This score represents the highest minimum requirement among nearly 20 universities that have released their admission criteria so far.
For high-quality programs, HUS requires 23 points. Candidates applying to other programs must achieve a minimum of 19 to 22 points to be eligible for admission to the university.
These minimum scores are calculated from the total points of three subjects in the national high school graduation exam, based on specific subject combinations. They do not involve coefficient multiplication and already include priority points. For alternative admission methods, such as using HSA exam scores, SAT certificates, or a combination of high school graduation exam results and international certificates, candidates are required to achieve equivalent scores when converted to a 30-point scale.

For the 2026 academic year, the University of Natural Sciences plans to enroll 2,510 students across 28 majors. Projected tuition fees at HUS will range from 19.1 million to 40 million VND, varying by major and training program.
First-year students enrolled in specific training programs, including Computer Science and Information, Semiconductor Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biology and Environment, and Health and Safety, will attend classes at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Urban Area in Hoa Lac. Students in all other programs will study at the university's campus located on Nguyen Trai street, Thanh Xuan ward.
