The Ministry of Education and Training announced the 2026 high school graduation exam results on the morning of 1/7. Tuyen Quang had nearly 17,600 candidates taking the math exam.

Among these, 328 candidates, with identification numbers ranging from 080163xx to 080166xx (08 is the provincial code), achieved exceptionally high math scores, with the group's average reaching 9,58. Specifically, 299 out of 328 students scored 9 points or higher in math, and 147 students earned a perfect 10.

This year, Tuyen Quang province recorded 154 perfect 10 scores in math, ranking 11th out of 34 provinces and cities for the number of absolute scores in this subject.

Furthermore, the average scores for many other subjects among these 328 students were also above 8, including: physics at 8,3, chemistry at 8,9, biology at 8,7, and history at 9,3. The overall average for all subjects was 7,92.

Responding to VnExpress on the morning of 3/7, a representative from the Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training stated that these 328 candidates are from Tuyen Quang specialized high school. The local authorities, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and Training, are currently verifying the situation.

The representative personally noted that this year's cohort of students has been educated in a specialized environment since junior high school. In the recent national excellent student competition, they also achieved a record 59 awards, with some students advancing to the selection round for international competitions.

Additionally, since the beginning of the academic year, the Department had set quality targets for schools, leading to a thorough review and preparation process. Mock exams were held 8-9 times, allowing students to practice repeatedly and familiarize themselves with the exam format. Even with difficult mock exams, their scores remained "very high", while this year's math exam was considered easier than in previous years.

The 2026 high school graduation exam took place on 11-12/6, involving approximately 1,2 million candidates, a record number. Tuyen Quang's average score was 5,7, ranking 18th out of 34.

Tuyen Quang specialized high school was established in 1989 and currently admits approximately 400-500 students annually.
