Vietnam national university of agriculture fosters cao bang tourism human resources

Vietnam National University of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Institute for Green Growth Research, is implementing a series of "2025 tourism professional training courses" to enhance the quality of the industry's workforce.

The Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Languages is conducting the program, which includes three reception professional classes and two housekeeping professional classes. The training series is designed with a modern approach, incorporating current tourism development trends amidst digital transformation, international integration, and sustainable development requirements. Lecturers from the Vietnam National University of Agriculture directly designed the content and deliver the training, combining foundational theory with professional practice to help trainees adopt new standards in tourism services.

For reception operations, the program focuses on professional service procedures, empathetic communication skills, mental health care in service activities, destination introduction from a receptionist's perspective, digital transformation applications, marketing, and professional English linked to local culture and identity. For housekeeping operations, trainees gain knowledge of professional procedures, hygiene and safety standards, situation-handling skills, tourist psychology, technology application in accommodation business, and conversational English related to local cuisine and culture.

In addition to classroom sessions, the university's lecturers organize practical training at accommodation facilities, enabling trainees to practice and refine their professional skills. Exchange and Q&A sessions, field trips, and end-of-course reviews also help learners systematize their knowledge and enhance their ability to apply it to daily work.

The participation of the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Languages at Vietnam National University of Agriculture demonstrates the role of higher education institutions in linking training and scientific research with local development realities. Beyond specialized knowledge, the team of lecturers shares professional experience and inspires innovative service thinking, contributing to the formation of a professional tourism workforce that meets the market's increasing demands.

Through this program, the Vietnam National University of Agriculture affirms its social responsibility to disseminate knowledge, foster innovation, and serve the community. Trainees believe that partnering with local authorities in tourism human resource training helps improve service quality, building a foundation for sustainable tourism development and connecting academic value with practical life.

With a systematic approach, practical content, and reality-oriented teaching methods, the program also presents a new direction for tourism human resource development. Concurrently, the training series highlights the Vietnam National University of Agriculture's role in supporting local tourism development towards professionalism, sustainability, and rich cultural identity.
