The final rounds took place on 15/12 and 16/12, broadcast on NBC. Ross, a young man from Texas, received a prize of USD 100,000 in cash along with a recording contract from Universal Music Group.
On the first night, he moved the audience with performances of two hit songs: "golden hour" by JVKE and "The Winner Takes It All" by ABBA. Judge Niall Horan praised him, stating that the contestant consistently captured the "heartbeat" of each song.
On YouTube, many viewers commented on Ross's emotional and unique voice. Most viewers believed he deserved the top prize. Singer JVKE also left a comment, thanking Ross for his wonderful rendition of his song.

During the second night of the final, Ross and the five other contestants performed with their coaches. However, Niall Horan could not join his protege on stage due to health issues. Gina Miles, the winner of The Voice season 23 and a former member of Horan's team, stepped in to perform a duet of "Last Christmas" with Ross.
According to American Songwriter, Ross had an impressive start to the competition. In the blind auditions, all four judges—Niall Horan, Michael Buble, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg—sought to recruit Ross for their teams after hearing his rendition of Adele's "Love in the Dark."
In the battle rounds, Ross defeated competitor Ava Nat with their performance of Julia Michaels' "What a Time." He continued to make his mark in the knockout rounds by covering Billie Eilish's "When the Party's Over." By the semifinals, Ross again showcased his talent, choosing to sing Damien Rice's "The Blower's Daughter."

In a recent interview with KAMU, Ross shared that he developed a love for music at four years old and began performing publicly in 11th grade. In his final year of high school, he auditioned for The Voice but was unsuccessful. Undeterred, he viewed the setback as an experience and decided to join an a cappella group at Texas A&M University.
On 14/12, Ross posted on Facebook, reflecting on his journey in the show ahead of the final. He also revealed that he had an alternative plan if he did not win: continuing his engineering studies at Texas A&M University and being "open to the path God leads."
Other finalists this season included: runner-up Ralph Edwards, 30, from Snoop Dogg's team; the group Dek of Hearts from Niall Horan's team (third place); Aubrey Nicole, 20, from Reba McEntire's team (fourth place); Max Chambers, 14, from Michael Buble's team (fifth place); and Jazz McKenzie, 31, from Michael Buble's team (sixth place).
