Bui Lan Huong's new version of "Nhan sac" is titled "Nhan sax", released on 15/12.

The singer chose the song for a music video as a gift for the director's 46th birthday. While previous versions of the song were performed at a fast tempo, Bui Lan Huong opted for a slow, deliberate delivery, with a somewhat alluring lilt at the end of phrases.

Rhymastic's rap segment adds a highlight to the song with modern lyrics. The content expresses respect and appreciation for women: "But when she turns and walks away, all intoxication becomes worthless. This world feels tasteless. All the notes do re sol fa mi, turn to infatuation before her gaze."

Bui Lan Huong said she found chemistry with Rhymastic in their first collaboration.

Bui Lan Huong also wrote new lyrics for the song: "What about tomorrow, you and all those other girls out there. With sweet glances, words you hastily spoke. Perhaps it has already caused my heart more pain." According to Bui Lan Huong, she drew inspiration from introspective women who are ready to confront life's hurts.

Bui Lan Huong invested in the visuals, opting for a cool, enchanting style. She wore outfits from renowned brands, complemented by glamorous makeup and hairstyling. The singer known for "Me muoi" stated, "I want to show the audience a new direction - where music and fashion meet, blend, and convey a message to the public."

Director Nguyen Quang Dung said that hearing his song again after 20 years with an unusual arrangement, performed by his girlfriend, gave him a fresh perspective. He composed the song from a love of beauty, and it was later chosen by director Nguyen Ngoc Dang as the soundtrack for the film "Nhung co gai chan dai", featuring stars such as Minh Thu, Xuan Lan, Thanh Hang, and Duong Yen Ngoc.

Bui Lan Huong, 35 years old, from Ha Noi, graduated from the Chamber/Opera department at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. In 2018, she released the dream pop album "Thien than sa nga" with 12 songs, winning a Cong Hien Award in the New Artist of the Year category. In 2024, Bui Lan Huong gained attention participating in the show "Chi dep dap gio", joining the "Hoa dap gio" team with members including Toc Tien, Minh Hang, MisThy, Duong Hoang Yen, Minh Tuyet, Mie, Kieu Anh, Thieu Bao Tram, and Xuan Nghi. Audiences were excited to see Bui Lan Huong dance and rap for the first time on the program.

She publicly confirmed her relationship with director Nguyen Quang Dung in 6/2023, subsequently appearing together comfortably at events. Recently, the two have moved in together, stating that marriage is not a priority.

Director Nguyen Quang Dung, 45 years old, is the son of writer Nguyen Quang Sang. He graduated from the film directing class at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema in 1999. In the 2000s, he became known for a series of entertainment films. Many of his films achieved high revenues, such as "Thang nam ruc ro" with 85 billion dong, and "Tiec trang mau" with 175 billion dong.
