The 63-year-old artist garnered public attention after a fan posted his photo at a fish market. According to HK01, Wong Man Siu undertakes several jobs to make ends meet, including delivering fish for a seafood shop. Each morning, he collects fish at the wholesale market and transports it to a friend's stall. Wong Man Siu also works as a sales employee, contacting new homeowners to offer cleaning, deodorizing, and sanitation chemicals for their houses.

The actor stated that despite working various jobs, he always hopes for acting opportunities. In recent years, when he secures supporting roles in films or television series, Wong Man Siu joins the film crew before returning to his delivery and sales work. He is set to appear in the film version of "A Step into the Past", produced by Louis Koo's company, starring Louis Koo, Raymond Lam, and Jessica Hsuan.

With limited work in the entertainment industry, Wong Man Siu's remuneration is low. "I don't have enough work, which is truly a source of humiliation for an actor. Film fees are insufficient to cover basic living costs. My mother wished I could buy a house to settle down, but honestly, with income from the TV station, buying a house is very difficult," the actor said.
Wong Man Siu's mother has passed away, and he regrets not fulfilling her desire for him to settle down and start a family. The artist once dated a woman significantly younger than him, but she left him for another. Wong Man Siu admitted that financial struggles were partly why he couldn't keep his former girlfriend. Additionally, her family disapproved of him.

The actor still remembers his ex-girlfriend, despite knowing a reunion is unlikely. He hopes that with time, the memory will fade. Wong Man Siu comforts himself, saying: "Actually, living alone is fine. I don't have to report to anyone what I do; for example, if I come home late after eating with friends, I don't need to explain to anyone."
Born in 1962, Wong Man Siu is a familiar supporting actor in Hong Kong cinema, having appeared in hundreds of TVB productions such as *Fairness, The Greed of Man, The Legend of the Condor Heroes 1994, The Journey to the West 1996, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils 1997, The Duke of Mount Deer 1998, Beyond the Realm of Conscience*, and *Line Walker 2*. His contract with TVB ended in 2012, leading to fewer roles since then.
One of Wong Man Siu's most notable works is "A Step into the Past" from 2001, where he played Teng Yik, the sworn brother of the male lead, Xiang Shaolong (portrayed by Louis Koo).
