The "Y-Concert" was one of the year's largest music events, featuring many artists from reality shows such as Anh trai vuot ngan chong gai, Chi dep dap gio re song, and Tan binh toan nang, all of which have generated significant buzz recently. Through this event, the organizers aimed to connect multi-generational audiences within a shared entertainment ecosystem, aspiring to build a large-scale music festival model that fosters cultural exchange.
As a ticketed event, Y-Concert demonstrated significant appeal, drawing an audience size that surpassed several recent large-scale outdoor programs. Previously, the "national concert" To quoc trong tim attracted approximately 50,000 attendees with free tickets. My Tam's "See The Light" concert at My Dinh Stadium recorded about 40,000 audience members.

The artists made an impression with their versatile performances. Many familiar songs, including "Gene", "Co khong giu, mat dung tim", and "Can You Feel My Love Tonight", were given fresh arrangements. First-time collaborations between the "Anh Tai" (talented male artists) and "Chi Dep" (talented female artists) became highlights, offering many surprises to the audience.
With a message of cultural connection across generations, the concert dedicated substantial time to honoring traditional values through a series of performances inspired by folk songs from Vietnam's three regions, incorporating elements of cheo (traditional Vietnamese opera), Hue singing, and hat van (spiritual singing). Performances such as "Phong nu", "Co doi thuong ngan" (Kieu Anh), "Son Tinh – Thuy Tinh" (S.T Son Thach, Jun Pham), and "Trong com" (Tu Long, Cuong Seven, Soobin) featured new musical arrangements, choreography, and costumes, setting them apart from previous concerts.
Beyond singing, the artists actively sought to reinvent themselves. Vu Ngoc Anh, Duy Khanh, Thanh Duy, and Minh Tuyet showcased their catwalk skills. Trang Phap, Diep Lam Anh, and Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc performed sexy dance routines. Minh Tuyet stated that for over a week, she had only slept for a few hours each day, dedicating the rest of her time to practice. Vu Ngoc Anh and Dong Anh Quynh made efforts to sing and dance despite having a fever.
The program ran from 14h to 0h, divided into several stages structured around emotional progression. It began with youthful, vibrant solo performances to energize the atmosphere. The middle section focused on collaborations between artists of different generations, interspersed with traditional-themed acts. In the final stage, the tempo accelerated with a series of familiar songs given new arrangements.
Music director Slim V meticulously arranged the songs, ensuring a cohesive flow. With a large roster of artists, he allocated stage time appropriately, allowing each performer to shine. The event was smoothly executed, minimizing interactions and fully concentrating on the music.
As the general director, Dinh Ha Uyen Thu was responsible for the script and stage production. The director designed the program with a multi-layered structure, featuring climaxes and quiet moments, while also managing flexible scene transitions to ensure seamless continuity between acts. Visual language, lighting, and stage movement were maximized to create a continuous performance space, reducing audience waiting times.

The audience created a vibrant atmosphere at Y-Concert. From early afternoon, tens of thousands of viewers began to flock to the event. Attendees ranged from those in their 70s and 80s to Gen Z, including many parents accompanying their children and grandchildren. They filled the seating areas and standing zones, continuously singing along and using lightsticks to cheer on the artists. Many stated they had been preparing physically for days to enjoy the show. Many audience members wore traditional attire, such as ao dai.
In addition to the music, the event was lively with idol culture activities. Many fans arrived early in the morning, bringing food, drinks, blankets, pillows, and even setting up tents to wait for the show to begin. While waiting, they listened to music, socialized, and exchanged small items related to their idols. Some fan clubs also set up booths and creative photo zones, contributing to the lively atmosphere outside the stage.

The event stage spanned 240 m2 and was equipped with a modern sound and lighting system. Ten large LED screens ensured easy viewing for the audience in all areas. Many performances were enhanced with fireworks and flares. Despite the large crowd, security, medical services, and check-in procedures were orderly and efficient. Mobile restrooms and numerous food and beverage stalls were also arranged around the stage area.
Audience member Minh Hang, 43 years old, brought her daughter to the show. She stated that despite the large crowd, the concert was orderly and safe. Even though it lasted a long time, the continuously changing performances prevented any feeling of fatigue.
"My daughter is a fan of newcomer Ho Dong Quang, and I love the 'Chi Dep'. Both my daughter and I were happy to see a concert where both our idols shared the same stage," the audience member said.
