Bui Lan Huong held her first fancon in Ho Chi Minh City on 26/4, presenting a dynamic performance that diverged from her usual style. The event featured singing, elaborate choreography, and a fresh visual aesthetic.
The concert's climactic structure unfolded over eight musical pieces, blending solo performances with guest collaborations. For the song "Cau duyen", Bui Lan Huong was joined by Dong Anh Quynh, Mai Tinh Vi, Hau Hoang, and Thao Trang. Subsequently, Ai Phuong, Pham Quynh Anh, and Duong Hoang Yen brought a bright atmosphere to "May man".
The artists created an energetic effect during "Nhan sax" with sensual movements and body-enhancing outfits. The choreography conveyed an open, positive spirit, which audiences enthusiastically received. The show maintained its lively pace and emotional rhythm through performances of "Tu choi nhe nhang thoi", "Bay", and "Men tinh say". The singer opened the show in a sequined bodysuit, performing a new electronic mix of "Ngay chua giong bao". The series of collaborations concluded with "Tet roi cuoi luon", a song that marked Bui Lan Huong's impact with fellow artists on the "Chi dep dap gio re song" program. She closed the show with "Cam on tinh yeu" (Thank You, My Love), accompanied by a video montage chronicling her journey from Singapore to Vietnam to establish her career, leading up to her participation in the reality singing show.
Many audience members expressed their admiration for the performances. Minh Triet from Ho Chi Minh City, a long-time follower of Bui Lan Huong's professional music career, praised her vocals and well-produced work. "The show was well-invested, and I was moved to see the artist receive so much love from her audience", Minh Triet stated.
On Threads, a fan noted that the concert evoked the vibrant atmosphere of "Chi dep dap gio re song". The account wrote, "I hope Bui Lan Huong knows that her fans are here for her music. Always be confident to do whatever you want, no matter what it is."
During the fan interaction segment, Bui Lan Huong admitted to being nervous about organizing her first fancon. She was surprised when tickets sold out in 11 minutes. The singer intentionally made the event accessible by offering tickets at a reasonable price, even if it meant less than optimal organizational costs.
Prior to the show, she experienced several days of abdominal pain, for which the cause remained undiagnosed despite medical examination. Despite this, the singer did not want to worry her audience, taking painkillers to ensure she could perform and complete the concert. "As this was my first fancon, mistakes were unavoidable. I hope to improve in future events, and I thank my audience", she said.
