Christy Chung and family celebrate Tet in Vietnam

Vietnamese-Canadian actress Christy Chung, along with her husband's family and children, traveled to Vietnam to celebrate the new year and enjoy a vacation.

On 24/2, the actress known for "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" shared a video on her personal page showing her family checking in at the airport before heading to Phu Quoc beach. Earlier, during a livestream, Chung was seen dancing on a yacht to Hoang Thuy Linh's "See Tinh".

According to TVB, during the Lunar New Year, Christy Chung, her in-laws, husband - actor Zhang Lunnac - and children visited Vietnam. Both sides of the family recorded videos to send Tet greetings to their fans. Chung's eldest daughter, Yasmine, also introduced her boyfriend to her grandparents and parents.

Christy Chung and her husband reside in Beijing, China. The actress's mother, Chung Thi Hieu, has appeared in Chinese reality shows and often collaborates with her daughter on videos demonstrating Vietnamese cooking. Late last year, Chung wore an ao dai while her mother taught viewers how to prepare pho.

Born and raised in Canada, Chung has a Vietnamese mother and a Chinese-Vietnamese father. Her career in Hong Kong began in 1993 after she competed in a TVB-organized beauty pageant. She is fluent in Vietnamese, Chinese, and English.

Chung is renowned for her roles in films such as "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils", "Mermaid Got Married", "Jan Dara", and "King of Beggars". In 2000, FHM magazine named her the "Sexiest Asian Woman".
