First released in 1997, the film series about the shrunken detective has consistently delivered a new installment each year. This consistency has established it as a long-running animated franchise, maintaining its appeal for three decades.
The "Conan" manga first published its volume one in 1994, and its author has not yet announced the ending. On NHK last year, artist Gosho Aoyama mentioned he had considered releasing the final part but abandoned the idea because many readers were still anticipating new chapters. He stated he would only put down his pen when the effort and fatigue outweighed the joy. The artist remarked, "Currently, joy outweighs the feeling of distress. I want to work until I pass away."
