Dam Vinh Hung has released a new extended play (EP) titled "To Quoc Goi Ten Minh" (The Homeland Calls My Name), aiming to modernize classic revolutionary songs and introduce them to a younger generation. The EP features five songs familiar to many Vietnamese: Bac Dang Cung Chung Chau Hanh Quan, To Quoc Goi Ten Minh, Dat Nuoc Tron Niem Vui, Tim Em Cau Vi Song Lam, and Mua Xuan Tren Ho Chi Minh City. He spent over three months completing the recordings, driven by a desire to evoke national pride and honor previous generations on the 51st anniversary of national reunification.
To achieve this modernization, Dam Vinh Hung collaborated with long-time arrangers Anh Khoa, Phuc Truong, and Due Hung. A key highlight of the EP is the track Dat Nuoc Tron Niem Vui, which features an energetic electronic dance music (EDM) arrangement. In contrast, for Tim Em Cau Vi Song Lam, he chose to perform it with a Ha Tinh accent, preserving the authentic essence of Vietnam's Central region. "The biggest challenge is how to maintain the heroic and solemn spirit while still embodying a contemporary feel, making it more accessible to young people," Dam Vinh Hung said.

Before the EP's official release, the singer performed these songs for 2,000 police recruits in Long An (Tay Ninh moi) on 21/4. The positive reception from the young military audience served as significant motivation for him to launch the product. This endeavor is not Dam Vinh Hung's first exploration of the genre; in 2013, he released the album Chiec Vong Cau Hon, which included 10 songs celebrating homeland love and soldiers.
