Designer Anh Thu and her Chinese husband, Hoa Ngoc Phong, celebrate their union with a photoshoot under the sunset glow of Phu Quoc.

She accepted the proposal from the Chinese businessman during a trip to South Korea in February, after one year of dating.

The couple's wedding will take place on 26/9 at a convention center in Ho Chi Minh City, with 800 guests expected.

Anh Thu designed the wedding gown, featuring her signature style with a waist-cinching corset silhouette, adorned with crystals, beads, and intricate Baroque patterns.

Her fiance is Hoa Ngoc Phong, 38 years old, Chinese, who studied abroad and established a business career in South Korea.

They met while discussing work, gradually developed feelings, and started dating. Anh Thu shared that she accepted a long-term commitment with her partner because she felt comfortable when they were together.

Pham Dang Anh Thu, 38 years old, born in Ho Chi Minh City, was once a photo model. In 2008, she established her own fashion brand. Starting her career in her twenties, Anh Thu faced many difficulties due to lack of experience, but she persevered and explored.

Over the past years, she designed outfits for many beauties such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Miss Do My Linh, and Tieu Vy. Many Chinese stars, including Fan Bingbing, have worn Pham Dang Anh Thu's designs for magazine covers or events. Model Cecilia Wang, wife of actor Donnie Yen, also wore her wedding gown. In 2016, Anh Thu introduced a collection at Western Canada Fashion Week, Canada's largest fashion event.
