According to Next Apple, on Tuesday, August 29th (the 7th day of the 7th lunar month), a friend of Hsu revealed that DJ Koo drove to the cemetery to visit his wife, as he does regularly. Unlike previous visits, he brought more items and mementos, including white roses, black coffee, and bread – Hsu's typical breakfast.
DJ Koo decorated the grave with six framed intimate photos of the couple. The friend explained this was the singer's way of celebrating Qixi festival with his late wife.

According to Yunanwang, Qixi, also known as the Double Seventh Festival, is a traditional holiday in Chinese culture. Today, many understand Qixi to symbolize the beautiful love story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. Legend has it they are allowed to meet only once a year, on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month, on a bridge formed by magpies. On their day of parting, the Cowherd and Weaver Girl weep bitterly, their tears falling to earth as rain, known as "ngu" rain. Thus, the 7th day of the 7th lunar month gradually became a day for lovers, including many actors and singers, to express their love and romance.

The source mentioned that DJ Koo has no plans to leave Taiwan. When asked by close friends about his return to South Korea, the singer simply replied, "I need more time." He has also declined invitations to go out with friends, citing his lack of mood.
Currently, DJ Koo is focused on sculpting a statue of Hsu. He often brings his tablet to her grave to watch videos of her, seeking creative inspiration.
The actress passed away suddenly on 2/2 while traveling in Japan with her mother, sister, husband, and children. Her family laid her to rest on 15/3. She left behind an estate exceeding one billion New Taiwan dollars (over 30 million USD). According to Next Apple, Hsu and DJ Koo did not sign a prenuptial agreement, and the singer has publicly relinquished all inheritance rights to his mother-in-law.

The love story of DJ Koo and Barbie Hsu has been described by many as more dramatic and intricate than a movie. They fell in love in the 1990s but separated due to interference from the singer's management company. According to Vogue, in 2021, upon hearing of Hsu's divorce from Wang Xiaofei, DJ Koo called the actress using the number he had saved 20 years prior, overjoyed that she still used the same phone number. They rekindled their romance and completed their marriage registration in early 2022 amid the pandemic.
Over the past three years, the couple faced many challenges. DJ Koo was troubled by the negative remarks made about his wife by her ex-husband and former mother-in-law. However, he remained strong to support his wife. The singer once said, "I came to Taiwan to protect and care for her. I promised to protect her for life."
56-year-old DJ Koo, whose real name is Koo Jun Yup, is one of the two members of the dance group Clon. The group was famous in South Korea and Taiwan in the 1990s. In addition to performing, DJ Koo is also a music producer.
