After 4 p.m. on 30/5, Huong Giang landed at Tan Son Nhat Airport, concluding her 20-day participation in the competition in Thailand. On 30/5, she secured the title of second runner-up in the final night, making her the first transgender individual to achieve this distinction.

From noon, many relatives, friends, and fans gathered at the airport, carrying banners and flowers to greet and congratulate her.

As Huong Giang emerged into the T2 terminal lobby, the crowd erupted in cheers. Expressing her gratitude, she stated, "I am very grateful for everyone's affection throughout this journey. Thanks to your encouragement, I had more motivation to achieve a good result."

In recent days, she remained in Thailand for media engagements, promotional activities with the organizers, and to reunite with close friends.

She expressed satisfaction and no regrets about the result.

The beauty queen stayed at the airport for about 30 minutes, interacting with fans and posing for photos. Huong Giang continuously made heart shapes to reciprocate the supporters' affection.

Close younger friends, including TikToker Thay Beo U40, Call Me Duy, and Be Duy (from left, back row), were present to share in her joy. They had previously traveled to Thailand to cheer her on during the final night a few days prior.

Following her airport welcome, Huong Giang boarded a double-decker bus for a street parade. Despite light rain, the team proceeded with the activity as previously announced to fans.

The procession traveled along Truong Son, Nguyen Van Troi, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Vo Thi Sau, Cach Mang Thang Tam, and Nguyen Cu Trinh streets.

Many fans on motorbikes followed, further enlivening the atmosphere.

Nguyen Huong Giang, 34, from Hanoi, first gained prominence as a top 4 contestant on Vietnam Idol 2012. In 2018, she was crowned Miss International Queen in Thailand. Over 14 years in the entertainment industry, Huong Giang has been active in various roles as a singer, model, and television producer.

The Miss Grand International All Stars edition, announced by Miss Grand International President Nawat in late 2025, gathered 56 contestants for various activities from 16/5 to 30/5. While attracting significant media attention, the competition also faced some controversies.
