Singer Noo Phuoc Thinh has released his new EP, "Nhac May," featuring three songs: Nhac May, Cuoc Goi Cuoi (a duet with "Em xinh" 52Hz), and Goi Cho Anh. Composed by young musicians MiQ and Soulient and produced by DTAP, the EP blends Pop R&B and Pop Rock genres. At the EP launch on the afternoon of 2/6 in TP HCM, Noo Phuoc Thinh explained that collaborating with gen Z creative teams is his approach to refreshing his mindset and exploring new creative material. "I don't want to lose my identity after 17 years," the singer stated, "but I still want to receive energy from young people to avoid becoming outdated and running out of ideas."

Through this EP, he aims to align with market trends, appealing to both his existing and new audiences. The three songs in the project were produced as independent music videos, tightly connected to form a continuous narrative about love, recreating nostalgic memories and lonely waiting.

Actress Chi Pu plays the female lead in this series of releases, though she does not contribute vocals. Noo Phuoc Thinh revealed he has followed Chi Pu's career for many years, acknowledging her efforts to transition from a hot girl to a singer, and consistently sought opportunities to collaborate with her. Chi Pu expressed happiness acting alongside her idol, stating, "When I was a student, I loved watching Noo Phuoc Thinh sing on tivi and pasted his pictures in my notebook."

The singer completed the EP over about one year, from the initial demos to the final shoots. For Noo Phuoc Thinh, this was an exciting journey that brought him new experiences.

Noo Phuoc Thinh, whose real name is Nguyen Phuoc Thinh, is 38 years old and began his singing career in the late 2000s. After collaborating with singers Thuy Tien and Dong Nhi, he gained attention with youth-oriented hits. In 2016, he won the second season of The Remix (Hoa Am Anh Sang) competition. He also served as a coach for The Voice Kids season 4 (2016), The Voice season 4 (2017), and season 5 (2018).

In 2017, Noo Phuoc Thinh won Single of the Year for "Cause I love you" (Do Hieu) at the Lan Song Xanh Awards, a music award organized by The Voice of the People of TP HCM Radio. He was also honored with the Cong Hien - Singer of the Year award (2017) and Favorite Light Music Male Singer at the Mai Vang Awards.
