Footballer Quang Hai's wife overwhelmed with joy after his goal

Chu Thanh Huyen cheered enthusiastically as her husband, footballer Quang Hai, extended Vietnam's lead to 2-0 in the first leg of the ASEAN Cup final.

On the evening of 22/8, at Rajamangala Stadium, the Vietnam national team faced Thailand in the first leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 final. Chu Thanh Huyen attended with her son to support Quang Hai and his teammates. Earlier, she carried her child while queuing and enduring rain in the stands, awaiting kickoff. The two teams were tied 0-0 after the first half. In the 62nd minute, Vietnam scored first when Hai Long netted a shot following a pass from Dinh Bac. Then, in the 69th minute, Hoang Hen received the ball on the right, passed it to the left, allowing Quang Hai to volley it in, making the score 2-0.

Footballer Quang Hai and Chu Thanh Huyen married in early 2024 in Ha Noi, welcoming their first son, Lido, that same year. Thanh Huyen shared that her husband is affectionate and deeply loves his wife and child. When their son was born, Quang Hai took time off from training and stayed up at the hospital to care for him.

The couple had been together for three years but rarely publicized their relationship on social media. In 2022, when Quang Hai played for Pau FC in France, Thanh Huyen traveled with the midfielder's parents to visit him. She then stayed to care for her boyfriend until Quang Hai left Pau FC and returned to Vietnam to join CLB Cong an Ha Noi (CAHN).

Thanh Huyen was born in 2000 in Son Tay, Ha Noi. She works as a freelance businesswoman and photo model.
