Appearing at the ancestral commemoration ceremony at Cau lac bo 126 (formerly Cau Vong 126 stage, TP HCM) in late September, Ky Phuong recalled past memories. For him, 126 was once one of TP HCM's most vibrant outdoor performance venues in the 1980s, marking the brilliant youth and bright stage nights of many generations of renowned artists. Currently, he continues his association with this location through the HKP Entertainment training center, where he ignites passion in his students.

"I am grateful for life because I still get to stand under the stage lights, am cherished by the public, and have found a peaceful path for myself," he stated.
In recent years, the former Techno member occasionally participates in charity and community programs, expressing gratitude to his audience. The singer dedicates himself to teaching, offering vocal, choreography, and modern dance classes, while also staging performances for students to gain experience on professional stages.
At both his music training center and his private residence, Ky Phuong has invested in specialized recording studios. He views these as spaces to shed daily worries and immerse himself in melodies. The singer constantly reinvents himself by studying music arrangement and mixing, playing drums, and researching the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in music production.
Ky Phuong admits he is "past his prime", and many young audiences today no longer know him. However, he does not feel pressured to gain widespread media coverage or frequent appearances. "I know contentment and am satisfied with what I have," the singer said.
Beyond art, the former Techno member emphasizes spiritual well-being. He chooses a slow-paced life, maintaining daily physical fitness through resistance training, swimming, and jogging. The singer mentioned he once suffered from insomnia, but through meditation and chanting Buddhist scriptures, this condition gradually improved, helping his mind become more tranquil and clear.
Thanks to his simple lifestyle, not favoring luxury brands or expensive cars, and having saved early, he maintains stable finances despite no longer performing frequently. Most of his income is reinvested into professional equipment. Soon, he plans to launch a music diary podcast, refreshing a series of songs associated with his name alongside new compositions.
Ky Phuong believes that romantic relationships are a matter of destiny. At age 55, he is content with his single life, not seeking marriage but aiming for self-reliance. In his free time, he takes short trips to recharge and find new creative material.
Techno was a popular Vietnamese music group in the late 1990s, formed in 1998 with three members: Ky Phuong, Thuy Uyen, and Ho Le Thu. The group made its mark with vibrant dance music, skillful choreography, and a modern image. In 2000, after Ho Le Thu left the group, Ky Phuong and Thuy Uyen continued as a duo until around 2008, when they ceased operations. Besides his role as a singer, Ky Phuong is also a songwriter behind many hits such as Nho anh, Cho nguoi tinh xa, and Sao khong ve ben em.
