On 25/7, Thanh Giang joined nearly 200 aspiring models at the casting round for designer Do Long's "The Prime" wedding dress collection in TP HCM. She wore a strap top, highlighting her 1,78 m height and measurements of 83-62-91 cm.

Judges, including Miss Thanh Thuy and Khanh Van, makeup and hair experts Quan Nguyen - Pu Le, and creative director Anh Duong, challenged Thanh Giang to walk the runway in a wide, voluminous skirt. The judges advised her to demonstrate a more confident, steady walk and adjust her gaze appropriately to impress those watching.

Thanh Giang began trying her hand at modeling in recent months. She stated that she registered for casting calls by domestic designers to find opportunities for self-development and learn from professional models.

Her full name is Dang Thanh Giang, and she has Vietnamese and Russian heritage. She has attracted attention multiple times when appearing alongside her brother, goalkeeper Dang Van Lam. She currently lives in Vietnam with her family. Van Lam shared that he and his sister have always been close since childhood. Thanh Giang has an oval face with harmonious features. She is currently a business administration student in TP HCM and has over 50,000 followers on TikTok. Beyond fashion, she enjoys physical activities such as horse riding, surfing, and rock climbing.

The fashion house organized the casting round to provide an opportunity for young talents to step onto a professional runway, with the main event scheduled for August. Female candidates must meet a height requirement of 1,7 m or more and possess a good physique and performance demeanor. Do Long stated that further evaluation of the models is needed when they try on outfits from the new collection, so the results will be announced on the day of the show.
