The program "Haha Family", which explores rustic life in Vietnamese villages, was honored with the "digital phenomenon of the year" award at the Vietnam iContent 2025 gala held in Ho Chi Minh City on 29/11.
The show features Jun Pham, Rhymastic, Bui Cong Nam, Duy Khanh, and Ngoc Thanh Tam. In each episode, these artists immerse themselves in the customs and daily lives of local residents, with guest farmers acting as storytellers of their indigenous culture.
According to producer data, the highest live viewership for an episode reached 150,000. The hashtag #GiaDinhHaha on social media platforms recorded over 2.3 billion views and 5.3 million discussions, consistently topping weekly trending topics. Audiences on forums view "Haha Family" as a healing experience, blending culture and daily life to spread positive inspiration.
On stage, during the award ceremony, Jun Pham wore a traditional shirt adorned with maps of the locations he and the artists visited. He acknowledged the farmers who became integral to "Haha Family", such as Chi Thong in Ban Lien (Lao Cai), Anh Diep in Sa Huynh (Quang Ngai), and Chu Chin's couple in Ben Tre (Vinh Long). "Our team's efforts would not have achieved such good results without the companionship of these farmers. They treated us like family," he stated.
Duy Khanh expressed his happiness at the program's popularity. He noted that the award motivates him to continue building a personal image associated with healthy content and bringing positive messages to viewers. "I hope 'Haha Family' will continue with a second season, bringing the lovely aspects of life and the beautiful landscapes of Vietnam even closer to the public," he shared.

Beyond entertainment, the program's simple and authentic portrayal of rural life created a significant real-world impact. In every location the team visited, community tourism and the consumption of local products saw substantial growth. Ban Lien (Lao Cai), "Haha Family's" first destination, was once little known but became a popular experiential tourism spot for many young people after the show aired. In 7/2025, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province recognized the producer and program team with a certificate of merit for their outstanding contributions to promoting local tourism.
At each stop, the show also spread meaningful social messages. In Dak Lak, the team launched the "Stop Elephant Riding - Let Elephants Return to the Forest" campaign, advocating for elephant protection in Vietnam. The cast later participated in a competition organized by Animals Asia, winning two first prizes. Inspired by this, the Ministry of Agriculture & Environment partnered with the producer to initiate the "Haha Family - For a Happy Vietnam" project, aiming to plant 20,000 trees in Ban Lien to restore the forest ecosystem and create livelihoods for local residents.

The artists shed their celebrity glamour, blending into the daily lives of the locals. Images of them covered in mud, struggling to plow fields, practicing carrying water, or gathering around a simple meal by a wood stove became widely discussed topics on social media. For the artists, participating in the show was a transformative experience. Jun Pham remarked that he learned to approach issues with a lighter perspective. "The stress and public pressure artists face are nothing compared to farmers, who contend with nature every day," he said. Actress Ngoc Thanh Tam shared that she matured through engaging in agricultural activities. She learned how salt farmers produce salt, understood their hardships, and consequently developed a greater appreciation for many things.
