Singer Huong Tram recently returned to Vietnam after 5 years of study in the US. On 15/4, she won the 20th Cong Hien Award for Album of the Year with her project *Phao cuu sinh*. This occasion allowed the 32-year-old artist to discuss her life and career philosophy after 13 years in showbiz, emphasizing a slower pace and appreciation for simplicity.
Huong Tram, originally from Nghe An, was born into a musical family. Her father is People's Artist Tien Dung, and her brother is singer Tien Manh. She rose to prominence as the first winner of *Giong hat Viet*, achieving success with popular songs such as *Ngoc*, *Cho em gan anh them chut nua*, and *Em gai mua*.
In 2019, Huong Tram held her first successful live show, *Hop thu so 1*, in Ha Noi. Following this, she unexpectedly announced a hiatus from singing to pursue studies in the US. In 2021, she adopted the stage name Charmy Pham, performing on overseas stages and venturing into new music genres like Latin. She continued her musical journey, releasing the MV *LaLaLa* and a self-titled EP in 11/2023.
