Jun Pham lives with his beloved cats in a 75 sqm apartment

Singer Jun Pham, 37, lives alone in his Ho Chi Minh City apartment, caring for his two beloved cats daily.

The recent Lunar New Year marked the fourth time Jun Pham celebrated Tet alone. His father, Pham Van Thu, passed away in 6/2023 at 73 years old. His mother had also passed away many years prior.

During the year-end days, Jun Pham cleaned and cooked simple meals, with his two cats, Be Ni and Be Na, affectionately by his side.

The singer decorates his home for the New Year.

The singer's residence is located in Ho Chi Minh City's Landmark 81 area. Having moved into the apartment years ago, he personally arranged each corner in a minimalist style. Jun Pham furnished the interior with neutral tones, creating a warm ambiance. After his father passed, he kept the belongings as a way to preserve memories.

The singer's life is less solitary thanks to the companionship of his two cats. Over time, his pets have become an indispensable part of his life. "I call them 'my children', refer to myself as 'their father', and consider them family members," Jun Pham stated.

Jun Pham cares for and plays with his cats.

Jun Pham finds peace when feeding, petting, or singing to his cats. "On days I feel tired, just watching them lie nearby makes all the pressure vanish," the singer shared.

He often reads books, watches movies, and plays with Ni and Na in the living room.

The balcony is Jun Pham's favorite spot each morning. He often sits and drinks coffee while his cats sunbathe beside him.

Jun Pham and his father cooked dishes like braised pork with eggs and bitter melon soup during Tet 2023. He mentioned that when his father was alive, the two cats were also very attached to him. Whenever the father and son cooked, talked, or went to sleep, the cats were always present.

According to the singer, caring for pets has significantly changed his emotional state, helping him maintain stability, learn patience, and live a slower pace of life. "They also taught me unconditional love. When I feel lonely, I just open the door and see my two 'children' run out to greet me, and I know I'm not alone," he said.

Occasionally, Jun Pham invites friends and relatives to his home to eat, drink, and chat. His two cats are also cherished by guests. On one occasion, the singer even brought his pets to fan meetings.

In his 30s, the singer chooses a self-reliant life, valuing privacy. Jun Pham stated that he no longer seeks grand things but cherishes simple joys each day.

He views his living space as a source of artistic inspiration. Many of Jun Pham's ideas for music and writing originate from this small home.

Jun Pham, real name Pham Duy Thuan, originally from Ho Chi Minh City, became known to the public as a member of the group 365, trained by Ngo Thanh Van. As a solo artist, he released music videos garnering millions of views, such as Hai Ban Tay and Thuong Em Hon Chinh Anh. In 2024, Jun Pham made his mark on the reality music show Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai, gaining more fans.

He also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as Tam Cam: Chuyen Chua Ke, Co Gai Den Tu Hom Qua, 100 Ngay Ben Em, Ve Que An Tet, and Nu Chu. Jun Pham is also a writer with over 10 years in the profession, having published books including Neu Nhu Khong The Noi Neu Nhu, Co Ai Giu Gium Nhung Lang Quen, Thuc Day Anh Van La Mo, and 365 - Nhung Nguoi La Quen Thuoc. At the end of 2024, he won a C prize at the 7th National Book Awards for his children's work, Xu So Mien Man.
