Actress Kieu Anh plays Anh, a dance teacher with an innocent, carefree personality. Pampered by her husband and children, Anh frequently acts petulant. In the initial episodes, her behavior often irritates viewers.
In episode 1, which aired on 1/12, Anh cried hysterically over the loss of her pet dog, demanding that her husband, Mr. Phi (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai), and their children immediately come home. Fearing something had happened to her, Mr. Phi cut short an important meeting, and their two children also put aside their work and studies to return. Upon learning the reason for Anh's distress, Mr. Phi became angry and scolded his wife. Anh, in turn, grew indignant, believing he did not value their pet. Despite his exasperation, Mr. Phi had to appease and comfort her.
In episode 2, broadcast on 2/12, Anh was shocked when Mr. Phi's colleague revealed that her husband had lost his position as a district-level department head following a merger. At home, Anh and her children attempted to feign ignorance, but Mr. Phi realized their pretense and became angry with everyone. Seeing this, Anh burst into tears like a child.
On fan pages compiling film excerpts, viewers expressed their frustration watching Anh's segments. Viewer Phuong Dung noted that Anh reminded her of the character Lam (Quynh Kool) in the series Gio ngang khoang troi xanh. Conversely, account Thu Diem considered Anh a fresh portrayal by Kieu Anh, highlighting the actress's effort in the role.
Actress Kieu Anh shared that during the initial eight episodes, she acted quite "over-the-top," anticipating that audiences might dislike her. However, she believes that as more aspects of the character's life are revealed, viewers will gradually understand and sympathize with Anh. Reading the script, Kieu Anh recognized Anh as a new type of character, offering her many emotions and challenges in embodying the role.
She found a reflection of her 18-year-old self in the character, using those memories as acting material. At that age, the actress was in love with someone seven years her senior, always feeling loved and pampered. "He never spoke harshly to me and always boasted about his girlfriend wherever he went," she recalled. However, the two did not end up together because Kieu Anh was young at the time and had not considered marriage.

Kieu Anh, 44, was born in Thai Nguyen. At 14, she was admitted to the dance department of the Military School of Arts (now the University of Culture and Arts of the Military). By 17, she frequently performed in programs for border guards.
The actress began her acting career at 17, playing Nhung in the series Phia truoc la bau troi. She subsequently appeared in numerous films, including May oi la may (2003), Con duong khac (2005), Tinh yeu chia se (2006), Hai phia chan troi, Nhung cong dan tap the (2012), Ho so ca sau (2021), and Gia dinh minh vui bat thinh linh (2023). In 2019, she was awarded the title Meritorious Artist.
