The artist revealed that in july, she experienced sharp lower back pain that spread to her hip, making sitting and walking difficult. "There was a time i had to crawl to the bathroom," Le Giang said. As the pain intensified, she sought medical attention and was diagnosed with a herniated disc between the 4th and 5th lumbar vertebrae, affecting her sciatic nerve. This condition led to numbness and muscle atrophy in her left leg. She has lost 8 kg, now weighing 60 kg.
"I limp, and have to undergo acupuncture, apply medication, and do physical therapy every day," Le Giang stated.
Over the past four months, Le Giang has paused her work to focus on her health. She has limited her appearances at events and game shows. The actress explained she did not want to be seen by the public looking unwell. This period also allows her to rest after an intense period of activity. "Every year i filmed two to three movies, i was afraid the audience would get bored. i am focusing on improving my health, regenerating energy, and will return to filming next year," the artist shared.
With stable finances, Le Giang is able to care for herself and her family. She is currently undergoing treatment while also looking after her mother, who is paralyzed on one side due to a stroke, and supporting her son studying in Australia. To ease her burden, the actress has hired someone to care for her elderly mother at her bedside. She maintains an optimistic spirit despite her declining health, not wanting her children to worry.
