Lucky attire for the 12 zodiac animals to attract wealth and good fortune

Yellow and red are said to attract career success and financial luck for those born in the Year of the Horse and Tiger this year.

Red is the lucky color for those born in the Year of the Tiger. This versatile shade complements many skin tones and is often favored during early new year celebrations and spring outings.

Renowned Hong Kong feng shui expert Pius Chan recently shared insights on lucky colors for each of the 12 zodiac animals in 2026, as featured in Vogue. Chan has advised numerous celebrities, including Cate Blanchett and Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere. According to him, colors in feng shui are a means to adjust "qi" – the energy present in one's environment that influences human fortune. Therefore, selecting colors is not only about aesthetics but also connects to emotions, mental states, and environmental harmony.

This year, to attract good fortune and wealth, individuals born in the Year of the Ox, Snake, Horse, Goat, and Dog are advised to wear yellow. Depending on personal preference, one can choose various shades of yellow, from deep to light, for clothing, bags, or shoes. For important occasions like signing contracts, completing procedures, or organizing events, incorporating more of this color can enhance confidence.

Gray helps attract good fortune for individuals born in the Year of the Monkey. You can wear an entire gray outfit or combine it with tones like red, white, teal, olive green, and butter yellow.

Purple suits those born in the Year of the Cat. Opt for pastel purple shades for a more youthful look compared to darker tones, and pair with white accessories. For a striking effect, try combining it with turquoise, burnt orange, and deep pink.

Black is a suggested color for those born in the Year of the Rooster. Many favor this popular color for its powerful feel and slimming effect.

Those born in the Year of the Dragon can experiment with silver. According to Vogue, silver is relatively challenging for daily wear, often appearing at parties and events. If you are hesitant, consider using silver handbags or shoes instead of silver clothing.

Individuals born in the Year of the Rat and Pig share brown as their lucky color. Compared to black and white, brown can be more selective, as it might darken skin tones or appear aging. To overcome this, focus on neat designs, plaid patterns, and light makeup to enhance facial features.
