The 26-year-old Midori Monet, from Seattle, Washington, is a fashion designer and model. At the competition, she also won the Best National Costume and Best in Swimsuit awards.

During the final round, Midori received praise for both her stage presence and her eloquence. She shone in a revealing, cut-out evening gown by designer Thuong Gia Ky.

Held in Thailand since 2004, Miss International Queen is one of the world's largest beauty pageants for transgender women. This year, the competition took place from September 5th to 20th, attracting 23 contestants from around the globe.
