Minh Anh 3A's son, Khoi Nguyen, excels in singing and songwriting

Khoi Nguyen, 21, son of singer Minh Anh 3A, has loved music since childhood and has composed 50 songs across various genres.

Minh Anh, a former member of Tam ca 3A, shared a video of her son singing on 21/4. The video garnered thousands of likes, with many viewers remarking on Khoi Nguyen's good looks and "natural talent."

From a young age, Khoi Nguyen displayed artistic talent, participating in numerous singing competitions and winning city-level awards. During high school, he actively engaged in cultural activities at Viet Duc High School. In 2022, he represented Hanoi students at the national finals of the Giai dieu tuoi hong competition, earning a gold medal for his performance of "Con co" by Luu Ha An.

Khoi Nguyen also secured first prize at the first Hanoi Student Band Festival, performing a medley of "Con co" (Luu Ha An) and "Con duong toi di" (An Hieu).

Beyond singing, Minh Anh's son is also a composer. He studied music theory and flute for two years at the Hanoi College of Art. Khoi Nguyen composed his first song at 13.

Currently a third-year international business administration student in Finland, Khoi Nguyen actively continues his singing and songwriting pursuits. He shared that he has cultivated an online music community to learn from others. He admires singers Morgan Wallen and Justin Bieber.

Minh Anh's son composed a Christmas song in 2025 titled "Part of Me."

Khoi Nguyen has composed 50 songs and runs a YouTube channel featuring his cover performances. He plans to return to Vietnam to pursue a music career after graduating from university. His future plans include recording, finalizing demos, releasing his own music, and finding a suitable music competition to showcase his talent.

At 17, he and his teammates won the ASA super league championship, organized by the American Sports Education Academy in Hanoi.

Singer Minh Anh and her sister Minh Anh are the daughters of artist Boi Tran. Together with Ngoc Anh, they formed the group Tam ca 3A. After the group disbanded in 2000, Minh Anh ceased her singing career. She married singer Tien Viet (known professionally as Quoc Viet) in 2003. She currently serves as the Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department at the Vietnam Airlines Corporation Trade Union, while her husband operates a beverage business.
