The competition's final took place at an outdoor stage by Nha Trang beach at 7 p.m. on 5/9. Around 8 p.m., as contestants showcased their evening gowns, heavy rain unexpectedly began. Organizers provided raincoats for spectators in the stands.

Despite the intensifying rain, guests remained in their seats.

Karolina Bielawska, Miss World 2021, held her crown while sheltering under an umbrella in the rain.

The downpour caused a disruption to the live broadcast. On stage, a video replayed highlights of Miss World activities from 8/8 until the final, covering Quang Ninh city, Hai Phong, and Khanh Hoa province. MC Luong Thuy Linh thanked the audience for their support. "Thank you for your patience", she said.

Even as the rain occasionally grew heavy, many people remained in the stands to cheer for the beauties.

Many waved flags in support of contestant Bao Ngoc. She reached the top 6 in the final, marking the best result for a Vietnamese contestant at Miss World to date.

Miss World is one of two longest-running beauty pageants, considered among the most prestigious globally by experts and fans, alongside Miss Universe. The competition originated in England in 1951, having been held 72 times across various regions worldwide. It celebrates global unity by seeking women with beauty, education, and community projects.

For many years, Miss World has promoted the message "Beauty with a Purpose". This year, Vietnam hosted the competition for the first time.
