Before taking the stage for the general rehearsal on the evening of 4/9, Linda Gorecka reunited with her mother in the hotel lobby after nearly a month apart. She shared, "Today is a wonderful day. I am happy that my family had a safe flight and arrived in time before the final night takes place."

According to Linda Gorecka, her mother is visiting Vietnam for the first time. Her mother also developed an affection for the country and its people, similar to her. The beauty queen and her mother shared a brief conversation and took a commemorative photo before Linda departed to join the competition's scheduled activities.

The beauty queen stated she always remembers her parents' advice: "never stop pursuing your dreams, and listen to the whispers of your heart". During the past weeks of her Miss World participation, her relatives consistently messaged her, inquiring about her well-being and providing daily updates.

During the head to head challenge presentation on 22/8, Linda Gorecka became emotional while recounting her family story, which serves as the inspiration for her humanitarian project. She revealed that both her grandmother and mother were diagnosed with breast cancer. In late 2024, Linda Gorecka's grandmother passed away before Linda won her national beauty queen title. The beauty queen considers her grandmother a role model for resilience, noting that despite battling illness, she always maintained a smile. Linda stated that her mother is currently continuing breast cancer treatment and, fortunately, her health is stable.

For Linda Gorecka, her mother significantly influences her thoughts and personality. "My mother taught me that even when life seems unfair, everyone still has the right to choose love, hope, and happiness", she shared. Over the years, Linda Gorecka has pursued a project to establish a fund providing financial aid to disadvantaged women, alongside offering mental support and raising awareness about breast cancer prevention and early detection.

Ahead of the final, Linda Gorecka stated she is mentally prepared and has honed her performance skills. "I am trying my best to prepare everything. I want to tell my Vietnamese fans: 'I love you all'", the beauty queen announced.

Linda Gorecka has repeatedly expressed her affection for Vietnam. She enjoys wearing the conical hat (non la) and participating in local activities. She was among the earliest contestants to arrive in Vietnam to learn about the culture and find a team to assist with outfits and makeup. "To date, I can say Vietnam is one of the most wonderful destinations I have experienced in my life. The people here are very kind", the beauty queen remarked.

Linda Gorecka was born in Detmarovice, a village in the Moravian-Silesian region of the Czech Republic. She is 1,77 m tall and currently works as a model. The contestant has blonde hair, a doll-like face, and a balanced physique. Linda Gorecka is considered one of the strong contenders from the European region, according to many international beauty publications.

After 72 seasons, Miss World is being held in Vietnam for the first time, organized by Sen Vang company in collaboration with the Miss World Organization. The event has traveled through three provinces: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, and Khanh Hoa, from 8/8 to 5/9. The final will take place on an outdoor stage, set up on Nha Trang beach within 2/4 Square.

First organized in 1951, Miss World is one of the two largest and oldest beauty pageants globally, alongside Miss Universe. The competition celebrates global solidarity by seeking young women with beauty, education, and meaningful community projects.
