On the afternoon of 28/4, Chau Dang Khoa announced the lyric "lua chin cao nhung chang he cui dau" was changed to "dau bao giong van chang he cui dau".
"Initially, the song's lyrics reflected my perspective and intention during composition," he stated. "However, the controversy was an unfortunate outcome my team and I did not desire. Earlier, the song garnered audience attention, achieving 1,8 million views four days after its release. On social media, the lyric "lua chin cao nhung chang he cui dau" drew significant criticism. Many argued that the original meaning of the idiom "song sau tinh lang, lua chin cui dau" refers to highly talented and knowledgeable individuals who remain humble and profound. Therefore, the modification in the song no longer conveyed the traditional meaning; instead, it suggested arrogance.
Poet Le Minh Quoc, author of several books on the Vietnamese language, including "Lat Leo Tieng Viet", said his initial feeling upon hearing the song's lyric was that it was forced and unrealistic. He explained that the image of rice stalks heavy with grain has often appeared in poetry with a different inherent meaning. "Some phrases have become idioms, deeply ingrained in the public consciousness. When creating, authors should not go against the common understanding," he stated.

Producer Tran Thanh Trung and his team prepared the project for six months. After hearing the demo, he contacted two singers, inviting them to record, believing their duet would create many highlights. They revised the lyrics multiple times, adding new sections to suit the vocal ranges of Hoa Minzy and Cam Ly.
Director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu directed the music video, filming for 12 hours in a studio. Winnie, the child of singers Dong Nhi and Ong Cao Thang, appeared as a guest performer. Tran Thanh Trung stated the song carries a community message, thus revenue was not prioritized, allowing other singers to cover it for free.
