The exhibition, organized by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in collaboration with the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee (UBND tinh Gia Lai), is being held at the Gia Lai Provincial Convention Center from 6/8 to 15/8. This annual event aims to summarize the artistic achievements of local areas, create a forum for professional exchange, and select outstanding works for awards.

According to the organizers, this year's exhibition received 356 submissions from 243 artists across Gia Lai, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Quang Ngai, and Dak Lak. Following a selection process, the Art Council of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association chose 257 works by 217 artists for display.

At the opening ceremony, the Art Council announced the award results. The sculpture "No Trong Cau Truc" by architect Le Trong Nghia from Gia Lai won Award A. Award B was presented to "Sau Canh Man Nhung" by Than Trong Dung from Da Nang. The organizers also presented three C awards and three consolation awards.

Architect Le Trong Nghia stated that "No Trong Cau Truc" conveys a message about the symbiosis between freedom and life's frameworks. He believes that people mature not by breaking all limits, but by allowing life to flourish within the structures that have shaped them.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, noted that after 30 years, the regional Fine Arts Exhibition has become a professional forum for artists in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands. Gia Lai's hosting of the event is expected to promote local culture and foster artistic exchange among provinces in the region.

The artworks are presented in various media, including oil, lacquer, silk, acrylic, watercolor, woodcut, terracotta, and mixed media. Their content reflects history, culture, nature, people, contemporary life, and the changes occurring in the local areas.
