On 19/6, contestants underwent profile checks, physical measurements, interviews, and performances before the judges. In "The Grand Arrival" segment, contestants invested creativity in their stage appearances. According to the format, the winner of this segment will secure the first spot in the top 20.

Phao, a contestant who has garnered attention for over a month, performed to energetic music with a dance troupe. She executed a quick costume change to cheers from the audience.

Judges questioned her about the pressure of being a public figure. Phao replied, "I am here because I want to break my comfort zone and show the audience something new."

The rapper, whose real name is Nguyen Dieu Huyen, is 23 years old and hails from Ha Noi. She is 1,68 m tall, weighs 49 kg, and her three measurements are 80-60-92 cm. Phao was the runner-up of "King Of Rap" and a finalist in "Em xinh say hi". Her hit song "Hai phut hon" has garnered hundreds of millions of views across digital platforms. Earlier this year, she created a buzz by starring as the female lead in the film "Tho oi," directed by Tran Thanh, which grossed over 450 billion dong.

Contestant Phan Le Kim Ngoc chose traditional Southern Vietnamese attire, including a "ba ba" shirt and a checkered scarf. She invited everyone to taste fruits from her hometown of Can Tho, then introduced herself in English. The 21-year-old was a top 9 finalist at Miss National Vietnam 2024 and won the "Mekong Delta Beauty" sub-title.

Nguyen Thi Kim Anh, from Hung Yen, returned to the competition after one year with the goal of winning the crown. She appeared in elegant attire, then transformed with a sensual dance performance. Judges noted her progress and increased confidence since her top 15 finish at Miss Grand Vietnam 2025.

Contestant Huynh Thi Ngoc Han brought a street vendor's load of "banh trang" (rice paper) to treat everyone, introducing a specialty from her hometown of Tay Ninh.

Contestant Le Thi Tuong Vy, from Quang Ngai, appeared in an outfit featuring angel wings on her back.

Nguyen Thi Hieu Ngan showcased the "hau dong" (spirit mediumship) cultural practice on stage and performed a segment from the song "Co doi thuong ngan."

Ho Thi Hoang Huyen displayed her belly dancing skills.

Le Thi Trang, "talented beauty" from Miss World Vietnam 2025, is trying a new competition after three months.

Contestant Ngo Bao Ngoc, from TP HCM, is an actress and model. She has experience in beauty pageants, having reached the top 5 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2023. Bao Ngoc stated she joined Miss Grand Vietnam to create a new turning point in her career and life.

Emoura Pham (Turner Katherine Margaret), a contestant of Vietnamese and Australian heritage, received guidance from the team to complete her application. The 26-year-old expressed her determination to participate and spread positive energy to the community.

The competition spans over one month with multiple segments, culminating in the final on 31/7 in TP HCM. The winning contestant will represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2026 later this year. The judging panel includes Miss Huong Giang, Ky Duyen, Le Hoang Phuong, Doan Thien An, actor Quoc Truong, and Nhat Kim Anh.

Miss Grand Vietnam was first held in 2022 following Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien's victory at Miss Grand International 2021 in Thailand. The competition promotes a message of peace and seeks modern, elegant young women. Over four seasons, the crowned beauties have been Doan Thien An, Le Hoang Phuong, Vo Le Que Anh, and Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi.
