The renowned music group Secret Garden filmed their latest music video at Vietnam's iconic Trang An scenic complex, Cuc Phuong forest, and Bich Dong pagoda during their tour in the country.
In the music video "Song From A Secret Garden", the two artists portray travelers, immersing themselves in the wild beauty of the landscape. The final segment features them performing on a floating raft at Thuy Dinh in Trang An.
Filmed last October, the music video marked the duo's first performances in Vietnam. Fionnuala Sherry and Rolf Løvland expressed that performing amidst nature evoked unique emotions. Both artists were deeply impressed by Ninh Binh's scenic mountains and waterways.
The production team conducted five or six site surveys before filming. Fulfilling Secret Garden's request, producers sourced a high-end piano, valued at hundreds of thousands of US dollars. A crane was then used to place the instrument onto the floating raft. To capture footage of butterflies, the crew employed bright lights to attract insects. Throughout the music video's production, the team maintained a strict commitment to not harming the heritage site.
Following the music video's release, the production company granted copyright to provincial leaders, tourism groups, hotels, airlines, and television stations to help promote the heritage site's beauty. Secret Garden also shared the music video across their official media channels.

This music video is part of the "Good Morning Vietnam" project, an initiative by Nhan Dan newspaper. The project aims to bring renowned instrumental bands to Vietnam to perform and promote the country's tourism. Prior to Secret Garden, saxophonist Kenny G and the group Bond participated in similar promotional activities.
Secret Garden is a duo comprising Norwegian pianist and composer Rolf Løvland and Irish violist Fionnuala Sherry. The group rose to international fame after winning the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest with "Nocturne", a piece featuring European Celtic musical influences.
Their 1996 debut album, "Songs from a Secret Garden", quickly garnered acclaim, achieving platinum certification in Norway and South Korea. It remained on the Billboard New Age chart for 101 weeks. Many tracks from the album became familiar melodies, deeply embedded in East Asian culture. For instance, "Adagio" was featured in the film "2046" by Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai.
"You Raise Me Up", with music by Rolf Løvland and lyrics by Brendan Graham, became an inspiring anthem, covered by over 100 artists. Westlife's rendition transformed the original orchestral piece into a pop culture phenomenon, topping the UK music charts in 2005.
New Age Voice Magazine once noted, "In a noisy world, Secret Garden provides essential tranquility. They are masters of healing melodies".
In Vietnam, Secret Garden's music has been widely popular since the 1990s and 2000s. Their two tracks, "Song from a Secret Garden" and "Nocturne", frequently serve as background music for radio and television programs. Many listeners appreciate the group's compositions for their gentle, profound melodies, which offer a sense of relaxation.
