On the WeTV program on 3/8, when asked about her feelings when Feng Delun expressed his love and asked for her hand, the actress stated, "He didn't; he never did that. I didn't need that ceremony."

She explained that having acted in numerous love and proposal scenes and worn wedding dresses many times, she held no romantic illusions about these rituals in real life. She and Feng Delun maintained a friendship for 20 years before marrying. In 2016, while filming in the Czech Republic, Feng Delun simply asked Shu Qi, "Let's get married," to which she agreed. They took simple wedding photos using readily available attire and opted against a formal wedding ceremony.

During their friendship, Shu Qi harbored no romantic feelings for her colleague. She even socialized with Feng Delun's girlfriends during that time. "Every time he broke up and found a new partner, I was aware," the actress recalled.

They supported each other through life's challenges and career difficulties, gradually realizing they had become each other's anchor. Upon announcing their marriage, the couple released a statement: "Our wedding was that simple. Our attire was chosen just as casually. Our decision to marry was quick and unexpected. We held no wedding party or celebration. We simply decided to commit to each other for life."

After 10 years of marriage, Shu Qi attributes their success to "meeting the right person at the right time." The actress expresses a desire to become a mother, a wish not yet fulfilled.

For her directorial debut, "Girl," in 2025, Shu Qi shared that Feng Delun provided immense encouragement and support for the project. She values his advice in both her professional and personal life. On one occasion, when the actress displayed disrespect towards her father, Feng Delun privately advised his wife, "You're an adult now; you shouldn't act like that."

Shu Qi, 50, boasts a 30-year acting career, celebrated for films like *The Transporter*, *The Assassin*, *My Wife Is a Gangster 3*, *Love*, and *Three Times*.
